I took a quick jaunt this morning to explore some areas on the nautical chart. I wanted to go over to the light house, but conditions were rough. Waves were 2', at times near 3'. I took quite a few good waves over the sides & bow of the yak. I trolled a couple of lures without any success. I stayed in the upper 20' depth range. Winds and waves picked up, so I made my way back to the launch, then on to work. It was an interesting 90 minutes on the water. I marked fish in multiple area, but none were interested in what I was offering. One lure worked shallow (6'-10'), and the other worked deeper/ (Stretch 25)

Applaud the effort--guys towing around ridiculous 40 lure spreads at 20 different depths for 5 or 6 hours are only picking up one or two here and there. Looking forward to the residents showing back up as the flats have been so weak.
