Flats 5/22

Busted 'em up again for the evening run. 4-7 out of Tydings. Low tide and a good chop on the water.

5 fish total, 4 dinks and a 26" kepper. Glass ghost and blue sardine xraps were the ticket right out front the launch in 8-12'.

What do you mean before they leave, lol. I thought they were here forever.

Seriously though, where do they go after feeding and spawning? I usually go right to bed, but I guess the rockfish head back out to the bay??

Water on the flats gets too hot for the Striper pretty fast. It was already at 70 sunday. They will start heading back down the bay or out the canal probably soon.

I'm hoping to get out for a few hours Sunday or Monday. Had it in my head to try a crabbing trip for the first time this year, this weekend, but prob better off waiting....

i'm thinking another week or two to try my luck too, i heard theyre starting to run on other side of bay bridge but slow.
