Magothy fishing report

Fished magothy for perch,Fishing was good perch were 8-11 inches.caught 50 perch . Fishing got real hot around 6 pm on a falling tide. Most fish caught under piers using chartreuse grubs.Still best fishing is with slow vertical jigging near pilings.

Manhattan community beach, By 6 pm I had to quit I was getting tired of pulling them in if I let one rod just hang over the side I would get a bite about once ever 2-3 minutes but jigging the pilings would get a strike within seconds. about 2 small white perch (6-7 inches) to every keeper 8-11 inches. I had 31 in the cooler when I started thinking I got to clean all these fish and gave up for the day
