  • Magothy River Fishing, Sat. 6-15.

Put in at my community beach at Magothy Manor at 8 am. Trolled a 3" Rattle-Trap and a large spinner with plastic worm from Wal-Mart ($1) for 90 minutes. Landed two 14' Rock, one 16" and an 18". Two 10" WP also hit as well as a skate with a 4-foot span (took 12 minutes to get it to my SIK). A good day for me. I need recommendations on a kayak-camera so I can post pics!

Thanks for the report. Sounds like you got a good work out between the skate and all the trolling.

I believe your skate was actually a cow nose ray. Skate are smaller than that and found in water with higher salinity.

Look at the Nikon Coolpix waterproof camera, and put it on a YakAttack camera mount. Lots of options for mounts, but start by looking at the panfish portrait mount.
