6/19 Jonas Green

Went out of Jonas Green this morning at sunrise caught over 24 croakers and one striper. Not a bad morning and all on my fly rod.

Where do you want to go? Also you will have to slow down now that I paddle. You can always bring the Tom Brown tow rope.

I would like to do Jonas I can get there about 4 to 4:15 or at Ft Armisted about 3:30

If you want to do Jonas maybe mon or tues based on weather (i would prefer monday but can do either day ). Right now both days look good with only 7 mph winds. Let me know. Maybe some others will be up for it after work also. Jonas green closes at sunset which is around 8:35 both days.

What pattern were you throwing for the croakers? I've never heard of anyone catching croakers on a Fly Rod before.

I was using an 8wt rod with a 250 grain SA Costal Express sinking line and a 2 fly rig. I had a short leader with a chartreuse /white clouser followed by 18" of 12 lb line tied to the hook bend of the clouser then i tie on a Bruce's Bay Anchovy fly.
