  • 6/21/13 Western Shore Kayak Crabbing Report

Wife and Son are out of town so had the opportunity to take my first crabbing trip of the year. Launched at legal time to calm waters and one boat in site. Layed my 600' trotline baited with chicken necks in 6' of water which ended in 14'. First run yielded 8 nice crabs with plenty more runs like it. The crabs have definately arrived and they are hungry. Ended the day with a nice full bushel of dark heavy crabs. Everything went smooth for the first trip of the year and cant wait to get back out. Off the water by 9:30.

That one crab in the basket is saying "Come at me bro!"
