  • Fresh water trip

Was hoping to get a tag along invite for the bay, but posted a bit late for today,so I went to Tuckahoe Park and fished the lake using my fly rod. Caught about a dozen blue gills and to bass, the larger of which is the biggest that I have caught in years. It gave me a large mouth sleigh ride.
Still looking to fish the bay tomorrow, and will probably launch out of Claiborne or somewhere on Tilghmans Island.

congrats on fish. there are crappie, yp, and pickerel too. i fished the dam in winter and thought i might put in the lake this summer. but if i have time, i'd really like to scout floating from the spillway down to hillsboro instead. looks like there's a possibility of a couple carries in the upper stretch. but some real interesting landscape.

I walked down a ways a year ago during trout season and think you would be doing more carrying than paddling in the upper section at least. A lot of trees across the water ,etc.
You should consider fishing the lake. It is easy access and I did not fish it long nor did I go up stream, which could be interesting as well.
