Wilson Bridge Monday night

Well, I got a few hours to fish Monday evening so I ran to the Wilson Bridge and launched at 7:10. I ran out to the pilings and dropped my line. Bam in less then a minute I had a 25 incher on. It was good going and got better when I hooked into a big boy. I fought it for about 30 minutes and it had pulled me more then a half a mile up river. When it had had enough I pulled him into the yak. Tough to get a good messurement but it was 42" or 43" with a 30" girth. I caught 9 catfish all longer then 20 inches in less than 1 1/2 hours. Not a bad time.

those holes I found. 20' to 30' drop offs. I did catch my last one at the North end of the first wall. 27" Blue cat.

Just think about the Maryland state Blue Catfish record was caught not far from there- Blue and Flathead catfish get to be the largest of the American species- both get well over one hundred pounds-
