I am a newbie to the forum and to the sport of kayak fishing/crabbing, first trip out crabbing today. I launched out of Ferry Point Marina on the Magothy, woke up late so it was around 8:45 when I headed out to drop traps. I put out 12 traps, I talked to a guy on a boat running a line and he said they were biting good but slowed down in last 20 min. I ended up pulling in just over a dozen of keepers and about 2 dozen smalls that were just under legal so back in the water they went. Pulled out around 12:30 after no crabs since 11:30. Can't wait to go back out.
