Yeah, nice vid - action, music, pullage and fish. Good job on the catches.

BTW. MD reports go under The Boatyard, not the Main Forum. Other reports (VA, DE, etc.) go under Waters Beyond.

Abu Garcia veritas one rod with a Abu Garcia mgx and the other has a Abu Garcia revo. Just my freshwater rods for these small stripers

Love the vids, Chris- kudos for braving the boat traffic on a holiday weekend...I been fishing in the lower Potomac/Bay area (Piney Point and farther south) most of June for specks and redfish. Stripers are fun to catch but until the trophy fish get back, I'll keep species fishing. I use the Revo SX reels as well, but lately I have started switching to the Diawa Lexa 300 H for just about everything saltwater- Live lining fresh live bait really gets them charged up and the action can be fast and furious until the live bait is gone- hardest part is catching enough small spot. Peanut bunker works great, too but they are harder to keep alive-been noticing the fish breaking are chasing tiny minnow schooled up by the millions- small metal Castmasters seems to work best to catch these fish.

I have been curious about the veritas rods. I really like them but haven't known anyone who uses them. Sure seem to have performed fine in the video. What do you think about them on the whole?

They are good I really like the winch series for crank baits but Abu has came out with a few more series of rods since the veritas which I like a little better. The eyes are a better quality than the veritas witch seem to be an issue on them
