Launched at 1:30. Tide was coming in. Winds were light at first and picked up as the day went on. Wind was blowing with the tide which made the chop heavy. I was hoping to connect with specks and reds but I had no luck with them. Croaker were very plentiful but mostly small. I picked up two nice size spot. At one point while crossing through deep water I got into another school of blues mostly small. Largest was 15". Caught 5 striper all short. fished till almost dark. I made it to Tackle Box just before closing to buy a new rod. While I was paying I saw a picture at the counter of a guy with an amazing stringer of fish - huge specks, reds etc. all caught at St. Jeromes. The guy at the counter said that the guy fishes from a kayak. I didn't recognize him. Maybe someone on the forum knows him.
