Had some time Saturday evening so I went to Matapeake to night bottom fish in about 15-18 feet of water. Looking at the bay bridge in the distance I had the itch to paddle over.
Long story short I made it to the bay bridge although the water was going out and it was a pain to paddle through, but it ended up being a worthwhile decision.
33, 31, 25, 20, 21, 18, 19, inch stripers caught. 24, 20, 17 inch catfish were also caught. They were all caught on spot. Here is a pic of the 31" that ended up being gut hooked so I brought it home.
