Thomas Point Light Report 8/9

Tons of fish, nothing huge, but plenty of them. Started early 5am-9:30. Rough as hell out there but we all survived. Came very close to flipping the pro angler... it was that rough... I even wore my life vest today...

Having been a surfer most of my life and I thought being in waves in my kayak
would be no problem... but there is a huge difference in a kayak and a surfboard.

Way to go braving the elements, glad you guys didn't roll over.

Nice work. One time I got into water that big was at the CCNPP rips with unexpected wind from the east. The only thing I could do was stay perpendicular to the swells. Fishing completely out of the question...reminder of who's in charge.
