  • St. Jerome's Exploring

Went out to St. Jeromes Creek last week just to see where fish might be hiding. I kept feeling a little tap while I was drifting, turns out I was drifting through a sea of 10" flounder. After catching a few, I started casting towards the channel when my rod bent over double. Thought I was snagged on a ray until I saw Mr. Spot-tail swimming under my boat. First keeper red (just barely @ 18.5")this year after searching a few weeks.

The old man paddled over to the same spot and managed to catch another red that clocked in at 20". This is the first time we've ever managed to catch keeper reds on the same day, that's a Chesapeake Bay redfish limit! Very happy with it.

Very pretty red. Hands down my favorite fish in the bay. Awesome job.
