Just came back from Jonas with a fellow member here (DonV). We met up at 6am and hit the water by 6:30. Nothing special today. Water was very calm in the morning but started to get alittle choppy towards noon. Don caught some big perch on a small jig. I caught two 11-12" croakers on a top/bottom rig using fishbites. We trolled around for awhile for some rock with no luck. Bad day of fishing but still a good day to be out in the great weather. It was nice to meet you today Don and thanks for all the tips. BTW I still have your neon green spacer for the scotty mounts.
Tomorrow there is a huge event around the Jonas area so it will be packed with people.
