Just got back from my first foray to Thomas Point. I launched at Quiet Waters (won't do that again. Too much work to get to the water). Since I was alone and the big boats were not playing nicely I did not go all the way to the light. I managed to catch my first Striper trolling.

You have to haul your kayak a 1/4 mile from your car to the launch point.

That is a BIG problem here in AA county, I pay too much in taxes not to have better water access. Especially at the parks I am already paying for in taxes and still have to pay an entrance fee to use.
