My bass-fishing nephew called me last minute to launch this morn w/his friend. We launched @ 6:30 and it was a beautiful morn. On an outgoing tide we 3 hooked up w/a nice LM bass each......then nothing through 2pm....no snakeheads seen, no bites, nothing. After me catching em from shore all week, none were to be found. Still, the birds entertained us including 2 bald eagles. I did catch a small aggressive watersnake but that's it. Lots of friendly bassboaters(no a-holes!) and yakers...and lots of grass...just no fish! Oh, well...he still enjoyed his birthday!

I launched at 225 at 9:30am. I was going to go from 1-8pm, but had to change plans... I figured some time on the water was better than no time! I got a couple strikes, but nothing in the boat and that was it!
