...And yesterday evening first fish up was another sheep! After that some bass, short tog, and Will's. KayakJoe was with me and claims he had a bite, pulled the hook out of the fish's mouth, and then saw the side of a sheep turn... I don't know though; probably was a Will

Nice looks like all the time you took paid off...must be one of the best feelings.
If you don't mind me asking is there like a map or anything where I can find the south jetty or bulkheads. I hear of them, but don't know where they are located. I want to see if I can fish for tog closer to my folks condo instead of heading all the way to CHSP.Ocean Kayak Trident 13: Sand

Just curious....where do you launch from?
I like that anchor. If I ever get down the beach, I'll have to build one like that. I've only yakked down there once. Tried flounder fishing. I had some spots that I really like. The current ripped me through them so fast, then it was ridiculous trying to paddle back up to start again. I'm just afraid that if I fished the inlet, I'd become a dot on the horizon. lol.Native Slayer 12

I think you did a good job on the DIY anchor. Kayak Kevin sells similar anchors on his web page: http://kayakkevin.com/home/kayakkevindvdsandstuff.html and they also sell them where he works at Oceans East 2 tackle shop in VA Beach. Congrats on the sheep!2013 WS Ride 135
