On the water by 730 and caught a 26" catfish on a twister tail jig and some average LM on a spinner bait. The weeds have died off so now the Lilly pads are accessible.

Do you what kind of catfish they have in the lake? That is probably the biggest fish I've ever caught so far and certainly from a kayak.

probably a channel cat. goldish sides, brown top, white belly, sometimes a few small spots, v-tail. blue catfish look very similar only blueish, not gold.
