Hit Mattawoman yesterday from 9am-2pm. The snakeheads were elusive, however the largemouth were active and in abundance. Most were caught on shakey-head worm in the deeper holes of the creek channel at low tide. On the paddle out one nice largemouth swam up to the kayak and watched motionless for 10 seconds or so. As he turned slowly to swim away I dropped the worm in front of him and he snagged it instantly (a sure sign that the bite is on).
