Great first weekend

So, I had a successful first weekend with the kayak -- successful in my mind, at least. I launched my tandem out of Homeport on Saturday with my 7-year old and in limited fishing time, we pulled in a couple of small stripers and a nice white perch. On Sunday -- again, out of Homeport -- my wife and I landed our first 20" striper from a kayak as well as a couple of shorts, and a small flounder. But regardless of whether or not we caught fish, the outings were successes -- splendid weather and scenery!

I would say that was a very successful weekend...fish and family...good stuff!

We caught them not far from the mouth of Church Creek.
