Magothy Trolling/Topwater Tuesday Evening

Put in at 5:45 pm as the sun was going down. Water was nice and flat and no wind. A fat 22" hit my rattletrap within 5 minutes about 200 yards from shore as I paddled out to an oyster bed. After a nice fight I got him in my SIK. No luck at the oyster beds so I went back to the docks near my launch and threw a top water lure. On the 5 th cast a 19" hit it and pulled me around for a while. Not as fat as the other so I let it go to grow some more. Back in the house in an hour cutting up filets.

Given the brevity of your trips I assume you are launching from private property on the Magothy.

Mark--yes, we have a locked community beach park. I live one block from it so its readily available. I am pleased that other kayak launches in AA County seem to be opening up.
