  • Finally-- Pickerel for Two

Raptor and I launched in Weems Creek today and ventured to the Severn for a 3 hour pickerel search.

We both got some pullage with 20 inch fish.

Raptor’s pickerel hit a curly tailed grub on a jig and my fish below hit a small countdown Rapala.

Raptor’s fish was about 10 feet from the shoreline while mine was tight to wooden cover.

Not a bad day given that we had been skunked on recent trips.

It was foggy most of the morning but it burned off enough on the return trip to Weems to see this…

It’s not every day you have to wait for a backend loader to pass on the water!

Great day to be out. I was working and was outside at about 2:30 and it was freaking 72 degrees!
