Hit CC on Sunday. It cooled off considerably. Fished hard to get four schoolies.

I was hoping to get out there, but I guess I missed the window for now. I saw some reports on Tidalfish. If Walleye Pete had to cancel trips, you know it's tough fishing. At least you got a few.

Boat, but It looks very doable from a yak, just stay away from the outflow rip. There is a park above , flag pond that I hear is pretty accessible with a 1/2 mile pull. I have been trying to google map some of those roads for a below the plant access point. I see c-4 road and couple others, but they may dead end to a cliff. I would like to find one below to avoid going out around the plant in case the wind picks up. I have to tool around a bit with a car.
Also, a bit further down, but can you launch at the light?

Flag Pond park isn't open at the moment. When it is open, it's open stupid hours, like 9 to 5. Also, I think it might be a bit more than 1/2 mile to the water. Last time I was there, you couldn't drive to the fishing pier. Lots of that area is private community access only, which sucks. There is a marina nearby where you might be able to launch, but I can't remember the name of it.

Looks like Captain Pete is taking trips there again, said he found fish there this morning...

Anyone figure out how to kayak there yet?
