Sunday.
Today’s fishing adventure is brought to you by a Sprinkle. Apparently, when a woman has her second child, the party is called a “Sprinkle.” And they invite kids. I call it a chance to fish.
I arrived at the Shipping Creek and chatted with a boat pulling in to the dock. They were out for hours and didn’t mark a fish or see any birds.
I spent two hours out on the water. Two hours, two fish, each about 20 inches. Trolling a blue-backed xrap and a BKD. Both fish on the xrap. The key was finding the correct depth---about 11 feet.
Fish were released quickly and not really worthy of taking pictures. Resident males Im sure.
