Fletchers, 4-24-14

Fished Fletchers, Thursday, 4-24-14, 10:30am-2:00pm, from shore. Low tide at 11:38am. Action was OK but kinda slow at times and got slower at slack low. Guess I caught 15+ hickories in the small/medium range plus one small (20”) American. I used my standard gear of 1.5” crappie tubes in red/chartreuse patterns on 1/8oz jighead. Two of my bro-in-laws rented a boat at first light. They did well with hickories and about 4-5 American bucks in the smallish 20” range. Americans are definitely more accessible from a boat than from shore. Avoid slack low if at all possible… sucks then.

Nice report and great to hear that the (3) brothers all hooked up! I would rather fish with brother inlays than see them at a family function!
