Black Hills REgional Park 5/18

I took my oldest son out yesterday to Black Hills Regional for some 'yak fishing. Rented a tandem and paddled to the opposite side from the dock. Though it was obvious the rain had left its mark on the lake, the crappies were hitting. In the 2+ hours we managed to catch about 20 crappies of various sizes including some nice slabs.

What were you using? I'm going there tomorrow and would love some Crappie Fillets for dinner!

Mostly night crawlers under a float. They were just off the shore in about 10ft of water.
