  • School's in Session

On the fly, Raptor and I launched from Jonas Green early this morning for 3.5 hour session.

The three of us together caught 29 schoolie stripers, most in the 12 to 14 inch range, a few larger.

Most were caught trolling paddle tails, gulps and crank baits. I got a few casting soft plastics.

I also checked out some known white perch haunts and got none. They seem to be very late in arriving this year.

But clearly school is in session for the little stripers.

Good report Mark. Steady pullage is always enjoyable. I am surprised that the white perch have not yet arrived in large numbers.

And white was definitely the color of choice for the fish today.
