Fished the bridge last night from around 1700 till 2030. Launched from SPSP on a slack tide and proceeded to spend the next 2 plus hours looking for some spot. Nada although I did pick up one croaker and missed a few bites that could have been spot before the tide really started ripping. Once the tide started rolling I moved on and started jigging the pilings. No luck there either. Smaller bunker (+/- 4 inches) seemed to be scattered throughout the area but not in tight enough schools for my snag hook.

Snagging any fish with hooks is illegal in MD. Better use a cast net or bait, especially by DNR Central

Jet, if you can get them they will catch fish.

Has anyone tried cut bunker around the pilings? Just wondering, I saw boaters out there catching a few stripers while chunkin.
