  • Perch in Weems?

Have the perch turned on steadily in Weems Creek yet? I've been waiting for school to end so I can make a few outings with my daughter but I haven't seen many reports. (Although I see reports for the Severn so...maybe I can just go by that)

Can anyone help me out with some intel?

    Thanks,
    Mark

Perch have started moving into the Severn creeks over the past week and a half. The last time I tried for them in Weems was more than two weeks ago -- they were not around for that trip. But last Wed, I found perch in shallow water areas in Whitehall Bay. I hope to try Weems later this week, but do not have any better first hand knowledge at this time.

Thanks John. I appreciate the update. Will you be at Wish-A-Fish this year?

I will show up early at Wish A Fish to help set up the canopies and unload supplies. By mid-morning I need to drive to Gaithersburg for the HTO Boat demo days where I will help out at the Native booth and will give a seminar on getting started in kayak fishing.
