Went fishing at Black Hill lake on Father's Day

Went fishing from 6:10am til about 1:30 pm. Didn't cash anything but was amazed at the clarity of the water. Some parts of the lake I could see 6-7 feet. On the way back to the ramp, I had the pleasure to meet Dave (Turtle 135) who was heading out to fish. I sure hope he will chime in with a report full of pictures.

Glad to finally meet you Donnie!

I fished until sunset but did not catch anything worth pulling the camera out for. Just a few fish who were only a few inches longer than the 10" plastic worm I was throwing. High barometer and a blue bird sky (with lots of boat traffic) made for a slow bite.

Hopefully that clear water will get that grass growing this season. Give me a deep weedline over there and I will show you some 20" plus bass.

Oh believe me! If I didn't have family plans at 3 pm, I would have follow Dave around like a lost puppy. However I'm just glad we finally met and we will start making plans soon.
