    Hey all,

Just wanted to jump in here real quick and say hi. I met one of your members on the water on Sunday in Mattawoman Creek and he suggested that I join the forum. I am new to kayak fishing, just picked up a 2014 Jackson Big Tuna two weeks ago. I'm looking for some like minded individuals to fish with. All of my "friends" are city folk and don't enjoy time out on the water. I live in Waldorf, but I am not opposed to traveling for a chance to get some fishing done.

                Welcome, Yakin,
I live in Upper Marlboro on the Cheltanham side. Always lookin for a Southern Marylander for spur of the moment fishing after work down at Skippers or Chesapeake Beach.
Have fun on your new kayak!

Welcome aboard Yakin. I was down a Mattawoman last Sunday also. I was in a yellow Torque. Think I saw you putting in.
Mattawoman is a great spot... calm... peaceful... variety of fish... free launch... and only 10 miles from my garage.

Let me know when you're ready for the Bay. The launches at Beverly-Triton Beach, Chesapeake Beach, and Breezy Point are all less than an hour from Waldorf.
