Launched with Jeff Little this morning from Matapeake. We headed north to fish the bridge. By the time I got the the bridge I'd already trolled up quite a few small fish. That was the moral of the story, lots and lots of 16" fish. I trolled the pilings and Jeff jigged them. Both methods produced. At the end of the day I'd jigged some too. Largest fish was 23" and it was the only keeper.
The current was slack when we launched making it a pretty easy trip north, but man, when the current gets moving it rips through those pilings. Lots of boats out today.
