Rocky Point-Jumbo perch

Ian and I launched at Rocky Pt. Saturday morning at 7:30 am. We paddled half way across Back river towards Hart-Miller island. We fished a spot in about 18 feet of water. It was non-stop action for four hours. Huge white perch, cat fish up to ten pounds, and stripers up to 15 inches. I kept 17 white perch between 10 and 12.5 inches. Six of them were at 12 inches. Ian also kept about the same amount of perch over 10 inches. Looks like the perch are back!

Dang guess we were in the wrong spot Friday... nice job! Were you bottom fishing with bait or jigging?

Nice. HM was on my lists of places I may go this weekend. Fished the Bay Bridge instead. Shady turned me off of HM...I should know better than to listen to someone called "shady" :-)
