I went out earlier this evening to get a little fishing in between rain showers. I didn't find what I was looking for but I did get this little guy to keep the skunk off...

Impressive! Thanks again for the great experience at the inlet. I can see why tog fishing can be so addictive...can't imagine if I actually caught one! Was able to fix the mirage drive by tightening a set screw, good to go!

I had a good time too Sparky! We'll have to do it again sometime!

That little striper hit a topwater and when I got it to the side of the kayak I was dumfounded as to what was going on

Somehow the spook I was tossing had gotten knocked off the TA clip and the mainline was now inside the split ring with the lure riding up and down my line like a fish-finder rig. Yet the fish was still on my line and hooked through the lip with the TA clip?! Once I boated it, I sat there looking at it for a minute trying to figure out what the heck was going on.

Weird. Never had that happen before and likely won't ever again.

Horizontal shaft that holds the fins in place was sliding out of place, making it very difficult to remove the mirage drive from the well. Repositioned the shaft evenly and tightened the Allen head set screw. Very easy to troubleshoot and fix.

Don't tighten that set screw too much, it'll cause the plastic to split....ask me how I know
