    Mattawoman bass

    A bit late posting this one - but the evil three leafed plant side tracked me.

    Just have to share this beauty from the Mattawoman from the 4th of July week. Caught on a Scum Frog. Awesome top water action.

      Nice going Laura. There are some good-sized LMBs at Mattawoman. Last Sun evening I fished there with Capt Dave of Indianhead Charters. We had a very slow bite from 4:00 to 7:30, but from 7:30 to 9:00, two of us hooked more than 15 big bass.

            Thank you, Buzz. I was really impressed with the girth of this LMB. It has been eating well that's for sure.

            I was actually targeting snakehead at the time, but a LMB that size is quite welcome on the line.
