I saw the tide and weather report and decided to give the Key Bridge a try. This was my third time out on my kayak. I had a blast. Put in at Fort Armistead park and was paddling by 5pm. I paddled out past the pier and turned right. Big mistake. I fished along the pilings and rock wall and never got a look. I was throwing a topwater on my medium action and had a plastic on my light action. Nothing. I decided to paddle to the bridge and try the pilings. I got to the first piling, it had a #14 painted on it in black, and started catching fish right away. I was jigging a 3 inch berkley minnow and the perch couldn't lay off. The tide was coming in so I paddled to the other side of the piling and just idled in the eddy. I caught at least 40 perch and caught a couple small stripers. I am really enjoying kayak fishing. I am already considering making the Tarpon 12 my river boat and I may get a bigger boat with peddle drive for the bay. /Users/user/Downloads/photo-8.JPG/Users/user/Downloads/photo-7.JPG/Users/user/Downloads/photo-6.JPG/Users/user/Downloads/photo-5.JPG
