Caught on chartreuse glitter BKD after a 30 minute battle! My best estimate on the length is 48" using my paddle sticker...
This is by far the biggest fish I ever caught on my kayak and second biggest ever only to a Blue Marlin...

just amazing! when you first hooked up, did you think it was a ray?

The fish was caught on the west side. I was using relatively light gear, got her on 15# test braid with a medium 6'6" spinning rod. Unless this is a dream, it really happened. I will work on editing the video at some point, I have a lot of language editing to do...lol

Since I've never actually caught a ray, that was the only thing I thought it could be the entire time... but I swore I was feeling giant head shakes, so I really had no idea
