  • St. Inigoes MD - Blowfish Scupper Plugs Sunday 08/17/14

Pam and I fished St. Inigoes MD today. (Potomac River) Along with realizing blowfish make amazing scupper plugs (Thing slipped into the scupper hole - blew up - worked great), we managed a few dozen rockfish ( Only one keeper), a bunch of 12"-15" inch bluefish, and a couple redfish. One was decent for the Potomac. Later in the day Pam stayed in the creek looking for specs. We didn't see any. I moved a mile outside Smith Creek into the Potomac. Found a bunch of schools of mixed rock and bluefish. Just catching at that point. Went to Courtneys Seafood for lunch. Place isn't bad. Just across the creek from the launch.

That is a pretty awesome redfish for Western shore! Way to go Mr and Mrs. Fishtank.
I was wondering if I'd bump into you guys this weekend.
      Love the new scupper plug.

Didn’t expect it. Using a 6 lb test on a light trout rod on the dinks and puppies.

Did you put in at Courtneys? My GF had a friend that owned the house right next to Scheibles but they have since moved to CO.

Thanks I have never been to that ramp. I was looking at the other side of the creek.
