Patapsco Perch Party 8/18/14

Lots and lots of Perch this morning out of Ft Armisted. They were biting every cast along the rip rap on gulp minnow. My bro and I caught about 50 with 19 of them 10-11.5" in about 2.5 hours. Also had one big pull on the ultra light from a Channel cat.

I have been out four times in my kayak since I bought it a couple of weeks ago. Twice was at Ft. Armistead. I need to get one of those fish rulers for the pictures.

Nice, I was hoping to get striper today but was happy with quality perch... tried trolling the channel 2 passes but no hits.

What's your gulp minnow setup? I was working that rip rap last week with a beetle spin and no luck there. Maybe just timing, not sure though.
