White Catfish?

Caught two like this today on the Patapsco.

I believe it to be my first White catfish...? Calling Ictalrus Bill!
Also had a Channel cat, a dozen Perch, and a skinny 20" Striped fish.

yea, I think the white cats are supposed to be chunkier and have a larger head in relation to their body length in comparison to the channel and blue

So my comment above was supposed to say, don't tell me they all hit the same lures... But my phone decided to have its own interpretation of what I typed! LOL
That's crazy that the catfish hit the gulp!

I figured it out... I've caught several cats on gulp and other lures. They'll eat just about whatever they can get their mouth on

Shady...I think you are right about those being whitecatfish....heaf pretty wide and flat I imagine. ..

After more research another definitive way to tell a white catfish is their white whiskers which this one definitely had

I Like them........BTW you saw I have caught a citation WCF last year. I thought it was a flathead since the head was so big. Sent a text to Ictalarus-----"BING" instant fish identification. That dude is a good friend to have.
