I had to do a warranty test today on the Occoquan dam sluice gates today. Once the tests were over I got brief chance to fish on the lower dam side. Not much biting at mid day. But this is cool. The old pump house is being demolished by Fairfax Water. They are leasing the property to the town. They are making some sort of public access in the area of the old buildings. The guard shack is being moved to a revised interior location. I think this will open up the areas that I was lucky enough to fish due to my security clearances. The pipe bridge is also being removed. Sounds like good news for the NVa guys.
