Went to CBBT early in the am, but wind and surf were bad. So, I went to HRBT.
In the afternoon I started to cross the channel to fish on the Ft Wool side, but the swells were 3-4 ft with some breaking waves. All I needed was a rogue wave to break broadside on my yak when I wasn’t looking. I made a U turn back to the Ft Monroe side.
Anyway, I jigged and caught toads, sea bass, short flounder, and a long tube-like fish. Never caught one before, but I think it’s a lizardfish (10 1/4 inch). It hit the plastic.
