Occoquan 3/09

[Snakehead Hunter]

It was a nice day today but fishing was slow. I managed a carp and snagged some herrings. I assumed shad are in the river as well. There were 5 yakers out there today, they told me yellow perch bite were good on Sunday. The water was stained and very cold, 29° on the surface. I hope the perch will still be there when the water clear up some.

OK, but I don't have any plan for Occoquan anytime soon. Trout action is too good right now
