newbie to lower virginia eastern shore

most of my kayak fishing has either been in the rivers for smallies, The saltwater has been mostly in Florida on the gulf coast, I made a trip down around Onancoke last weekend with the family. It was such a short trip I didn't bring my yak Despite that I had some pretty good success fishing the banks of the creeks. Caught a bunch of stripers-nothing huge-but it was fun. I was wondering if anyone could provide any general info as to seasons and any other general tactics, other species-when they arrive. Would love to get into some blues. If anyone live around silver spring and would want to to do a trip Id be happy to discuss. it sure is a pretty area.

If you want Blues, Rudee Inlet will be your best bet shortly. I'd say within the next few weeks.
