Anyone fish Lake Laura at Bryce Virginia??

I am going up there on a family vacation, and my son-in-law is bring his 'home-made' boat. Pretty cool setup.

Where is the best fishing at the lake and what do you guys us for bait / lures??

People have told me that bank across from the boat launch is a good spot to fish. I will go and try it out Monday and tell everyone how it works out.
