Wish I could join ya. I tried that area last summer and just caught small bass. Was using top water frogs with no luck on any snakes. I did see a lot of Lilly pad movement from time 2 time but wasn't sure what it was. Are you bow fishing those? Tell you what tho.....that's some of the shallowest water I have paddled in. Made a mistake stepping out of the yak and feet sunk into that mud....good luck and post update on how it went.
