Kayak info

Has anyone had a experience or knowledge on the bkc kayak company. They seem to be clone kayaks to the riptide water hog. I've found them factory new on craigslist from a va dealer for $600. That's with kayak, kayak chair and a paddle. And it has a 5year factory warranty. Any input would be great.

Some of the discussion from the iCast 2017 thread on here was the original yak designer licensing the intellectual property (i.e. the design) to other manufacturers who can create different color schemes, or incorporate some of their own quirks or additions.

Just trying to weigh my options out the instant gratification of a local big name kayak for the same price or wait for one of those to be shipped
