CBBT 03 July Sheep Report

Weather looked great on 03 July for fishing the CBBT on the south side. Fished with a couple other VB kayakers for sheep and spades. Friend had a 24.5" on the incoming tide and I lost one of similar size shortly after (always keep your knots tight!). We fished for spades after and got into some massive ones. One of the other kayakers had a few around 20" or so and I lost a really nice one on the initial fight. When the current switched over to outgoing, I fished my way back to the beach. The current was pretty strong, but I caught two sheep about 23" and 23.5".

That's a pretty one! Maybe its the camera angle, but you look like you drifted so far away from the bridge by the time you landed it.

And I still need to check off spades from my list one of these days.
