Tautog & Sheepshead - CBBT on Nov 2, 2019

The water temp at the mouth of Chesapeake Bay had been dropping 3-4 degrees a week.
I expected keeper size tautog and puppy drum bites in the 60 F water.
I caught few tautog, and two of them were keepers as I expected. But I caught only 2 small puppy drum. Somehow I caught a nice size sheepshead.

Nice to see you catching some Tog. I think last year there was another kayaker who caught a few Sheepshead in December off the CBBT. It seems like a few fish linger around the CBBT into the colder months.

Nice. I just drove over the CBBT for the first time this past weekend. Cool structure. Wish it was closer to me so I could fish it.
